July 2026 Competition – WIN a $200 Dining Voucher at Queensland Cruising Yacht Club
Queensland Cruising Yacht Club is one of Shorncliffe’s favourite spots for relaxed waterfront dining. The QCYC Bar and Restaurant is open from Thursday to Sunday and offers a friendly place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner by the marina. With a well-established chef and a menu that focuses on fresh, simple food, the Club has become a popular choice for locals and visitors who enjoy good food in a laid-back setting. Guests drop in for a casual meal, sunset drinks, or live music on Sundays, all with uninterrupted views of Cabbage Tree Creek and the boats along the waterfront.
The Club also has a proud sailing heritage. Established in 1948, Queensland Cruising Yacht Club has grown into a vibrant community of sailors, supporters, and visitors. It is the home of the Gladstone Ports Corporation Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race, one of Australia’s most recognised offshore races, which attracts competitors and spectators from across the country each Easter. Alongside the B2G, the Club hosts races such as the Bribie Cup, Vintage Yacht Regatta, Winter Series, and other community sailing events throughout the year.
