It’s another feast for your senses and, of course, your tummy at The Belvedere. This expansive venue is located in Woody Point. It’s especially known for its spectacular sunsets. The Bel, as it’s often called, is incredibly popular in entertaining both locals and those who love to regularly make the visit. Its Pavillion area will be decked out like the proverbial halls this July.
The Christmas in July Feast features a spit roast with all the trimmings. Different types of meat will be on the spit on a rotating roster throughout the weeks of July. Delight in a change of pace with some fantastic festive markets. The well-loved Redcliffe Markets get a Christmas in July makeover at a special evening timeslot. This themed market is set for Saturday, 19 July. With sparkling lights and other holiday decorations, the expected atmosphere is one of winter wonderland splendour.
This market is a new addition for 2025 and is set to wow crowds with fireworks, stalls, and delicious food. You may well take care of your Christmas shopping before the actual season starts. Peruse stalls of unique artisan gifts, such as jewellery, apparel, homewares, and so much more. Plus, there are dedicated kids’ activities and entertainment, live music, photo opportunities with Mrs Claus and ‘Selfie with an Elf.’ Not to mention fire twirlers and stilt walkers for good measure! This entry brings us right back where we started this article, at the fantastic Redcliffe Tavern. A special Christmas in July-themed Drag Queen Bingo Show makes it extra fabulous. “Balls drop” on Monday, 7 July, with six bingo games being offered around colourful and outrageous drag shows. If you haven’t visited the new pop-up ‘second life’ home decor concept store in Woody Point yet, well, here’s your chance! St Kieran’s Fete (Christmas in July) | Brighton
Head just across the Hornibrook Bridge from Redcliffe to Brighton to support a Christmas in July-themed fête. All ages are welcome to attend this important school fundraising event. Indeed, anyone in the community is invited to come along and enjoy family-friendly entertainment and attractions. This year’s fête (for 2025) will be held on Sunday, 20 July.
St Keiran’s Christmas in July Fete offers a variety of market stalls, an exhilarating array of rides, sideshow alley, vintage games, penny auctions, and trash and treasure vendors. Naturally, Christmas flavours abound with plenty of celebratory food choices for everybody. There’s also face painting for the kids, cake stalls, and plenty more!
