As another year draws to a close, Redcliffe and the greater Moreton Bay area are set to host an array of New Year’s Eve events to suit all ages and interests.
At Bramble Bay Bowls Club, local rock band Cherry Red will perform at a Hollywood red carpet-themed event. Attendees are encouraged to dress the part as a celebrity, bodyguard, paparazzi or film crew and make a grand entrance by posing for a photo in front of the NYE banner.
Kellie from Cherry Red said the bowls club was a fantastic location overlooking the bay at Woody Point, with tons of parking and a great dance floor.
“The club is going all out with this theme – including a red carpet entrance, photos with a Cherry Red backdrop, and more,” Kellie said.
“Cherry Red band members will be dressed up in themed costumes, there will be a countdown to midnight AND the band has a couple of surprises up their sleeve…
“Cherry Red gigs always draw a great crowd, so get your NYE crew together and start planning your Hollywood Red Carpet costumes now.”

Family-Friendly Celebrations and Fireworks
For those seeking craft beers, a meal and live music, Scarborough Harbour Brewing Company will host a relaxed celebration.
The brewery will open its Engine Room and kitchen at 12pm, with David Kleinschmidt performing from 7pm to 11pm. The event marks the first of five days of live music to celebrate 2026.

Redcliffe Tavern is gearing up for an 80s Trivia Party, where guests can dress in nostalgic 80s fashion. The event will include a trivia competition and throwback tunes. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed.
Mango Hill Tavern will offer a family-friendly event with a Mini Glow New Year’s Eve Party that includes glow face painting, a lolly buffet, and a kids’ countdown at 9pm. Book your seats here.
Want fireworks? Further north, Bribie Island will host its annual New Year’s Eve celebration at Brennan Park in Bongaree, from 4pm to 9pm. The free, family-friendly event, organised by the Rotary Club of Bribie Island, will feature live music, food stalls, markets, and a fireworks display.
