Food trucks, sweet treats and an inflatable outdoor cinema are on the menu when The Redcliffe Fiesta returns to Pelican Park this month.
The family-friendly night market will bring entertainment to the waterfront park overlooking Bramble Bay on Saturday, 10 October.
A festival spokesperson said the event would include activities aimed at younger visitors.
“One of the main highlights will be our inflatable outdoor cinema, with a free movie for the kids,” the spokesperson said.
“Our Foodie Fiesta events are designed with families in mind and are suitable for children of all ages. We want them to be an affordable and enjoyable family night out.”
Foodie Fiesta will also run giveaways through its social media pages in the lead-up to the event, including food vouchers and other prizes.
Bringing the Community Together Through Food and Connection
The spokesperson said the market’s atmosphere was built around shared experiences rather than just the food on offer.
“Night markets bring people together through food and shared experiences,” the spokesperson said. “They give families and friends somewhere to meet, enjoy a meal, talk, meet new people and spend quality time together.
“We think events like this help create a stronger sense of community.”
Admission is $3 per person or $10 for a family pass, payable at the gate. Children under three are free.
