Redcliffe Mums Charity Trivia Night & Auction at Scarborough Bowls Club 

Enjoy a fun night out while supporting a meaningful cause when Redcliffe Mums Inc hosts its Charity Trivia Night and Cent Auction on Saturday, 30 May. 

Raising funds to support local children with essential school items, the event brings the community together for a fun night of trivia, prizes and community spirit.  

Trisha Hassum, Treasurer of Redcliffe Mums Inc, said it will be “a fun-filled night of laughs, friendly competition and great prizes, all for a great cause, helping local children access essential school items.”

Moreton Bay Turtle Expo 2026

Turtle Family Fun Day will be celebrated on Saturday, 9 May, with two community events focused on conservation and education. 

A Turtle Awareness Expo will be held at Queens Beach North, Scarborough, from 10am to 2pm. The free event will feature educational displays, guest speakers and activities for children, raising awareness about local turtle habitats and protection. 

“The event continues to attract interest from a wide cross section of the community, particularly children, as the hatchling season comes to a close,” Colin Scobie, vice-president of Rotary Redcliffe Sunrise, said. 

Later, an outdoor screening of The Adventures of Sam the Turtle will take place at the Redcliffe Amphitheatre at Settlement Cove. Guests can arrive from 5pm for a 5.30pm start.

Once Upon a Tune at Redcliffe Entertainment Centre

Once Upon a Tune

Enjoy an afternoon of storytelling through music when the Brisbane City Pops Orchestra presents Once Upon a Tune at Redcliffe Entertainment Centre on Saturday, 30 May. 

The concert will feature a diverse program of music drawn from fairy tales, films, musicals, ballet, opera and classical favourites, performed by the full orchestra alongside guest artists.

Community Events in April 2026

Redcliffe District Orchid Society Autumn Show 

The Redcliffe District Orchid Society will present its 2026 Autumn Orchid Show this month, inviting the community to enjoy a colourful orchid and foliage display. 

Held at Redcliffe Showgrounds from 17-18 April between 8.30am and 3pm, the event will showcase a range of orchids grown by local members. Visitors can browse the plant sale, purchase orchid-growing supplies, watch potting demonstrations and receive expert advice suited to both beginners and experienced growers. 

President Greg Coughlan said, “Come along and join us at this hugely popular local event. Learn how easy and fun orchids are to grow from experts, choose from a huge selection of flowering plants to take home, and pick up those orchid-growing supplies you might be looking for.”

Makeup Masterclass at The Komo 

Learn how to create a flawless everyday look when professional makeup artist and colour expert Adam Buechner brings his Redcliffe Makeup Masterclass to The Komo on Friday, 17 April.  

With more than 12 years of industry experience, Adam specialises in enhancing natural beauty and helping clients understand what suits their individual face shape, colouring and personal style. 

“Take the guesswork out of makeup and learn a step-by-step approach to creating an elevated everyday makeup look,” Adam said. “In this 2.5-hour masterclass, we cover everything from skin preparation and face, eye and brow shapes, to creating a flawless base, soft contouring, brow design and a soft smoked eye.” 

The masterclass includes a personalised colour analysis, face mapping and practical techniques to help guests feel confident. Sessions will be held at 10am, 2pm and 6pm.

High Voltage AC/DC Experience at Redcliffe Leagues Club 

Rock fans can prepare for a night of classic hits when the High Voltage AC/DC Experience takes over Redcliffe Leagues Club on Friday, 10 April.  

Formed by former members of the internationally touring Let There Be AC/DC, the band is said to deliver the heart-pounding energy the original rock group is known for, performing renditions of some of the most well-known rock anthems of all time. 

Frontmen Adam Spizzo and Joshua Overson take to the stage as Angus Young and Bon Scott or Brian Johnson, backed by a rhythm section that aims to deliver an electrifying night of music and nostalgia. 

The event is free and takes place in the Legends Lounge from 7pm.

Community Events in March 2026

An Evening with Murphy’s Pigs 

Celtic-rock favourites Murphy’s Pigs will return to Redcliffe Entertainment Centre on Saturday, 21 March, to celebrate 20 years of music, dance and mischief with their anniversary show, Lock Up Your Troughs

Winners of the Australian Folk Music Awards People’s Choice for Best Band in 2024 and 2025, the 12-piece ensemble draws strong audiences, with recent Redcliffe performances selling out.  

Band member John Graham, who grew up in Redcliffe, said returning to the Peninsula was always special. 

“Selling out our last few shows at Redcliffe Entertainment Centre has been incredible,” John said. “Twenty years with our snouts in the trough, we’re coming back to bring our toe-tapping, foot-stomping, singalong brand of Celtic music home again.” 

Joined by the Cape Byron Celtic Dance Troupe, the show starts at 7pm and promises a rousing night of classics, originals and high-energy performance.

St Patrick’s Day Celebration

St Patricks Day at Redcliffe Entertaintment Centre

A lively mix of music, comedy and Irish charm will take centre stage when the St Patrick’s Day Celebration comes to Redcliffe Entertainment Centre on Tuesday, 17 March. 

The show features Rob Rosenlund from Wickety Wak and Dave Mitchell from Outtawak, alongside vocalist and guitarist John Curtin and lead guitarist Michael Olsen. Known for their humour, impersonations and engaging performances, the group delivers an interactive experience filled with laughter and audience participation. 

Audiences are invited to sing along to much-loved Irish classics including Danny Boy, When Irish Eyes Are Smiling and It’s a Long Way to Tipperary, alongside popular favourites such as When You Say Nothing at All and You Raise Me Up.

Beezentric Bee Workshop

Visitors can explore the fascinating world of bees when Beezentric hosts a free, immersive bee workshop at Redcliffe Museum as part of the launch of the Harvest exhibition on Sunday, 8 March. 

Bee enthusiast and environmental educator Carolyn O’Neill, known as Caz from Beezentric, will share insights into responsible beekeeping and the vital role bees play in food production and the environment. 

“I’m so grateful that beekeeping is being included in the Harvest exhibition,” Carolyn said. “It’s a vital part of our food production process and often overlooked.” 

The workshop includes a live observation hive, hands-on activities, and interactive displays exploring bee life cycles, threats to bee health, and ways families can create welcoming habitats for pollinators. No bookings required.

Music lovers are invited to a hit-filled night celebrating two of the greatest icons in pop history when Billy vs Elton comes to Redcliffe Entertainment Centre on Saturday, 14 February. 

Performer and producer Michael Hynes said the show promises a high-energy and interactive night out.  

“Imagine the world’s biggest singalong piano bar – throw in a nine-piece band and five amazing vocalists and you’ve got the idea,” Michael said. “All the incredible hits of Billy Joel and Elton John are delivered fully live in a highly fun, energetic format.”

Audiences are invited to enjoy a morning of music and storytelling when Bublé, Broadway & Beyond returns to Redcliffe Entertainment Centre on Wednesday, 11 February. 

Show creator and performer Thomas Armstrong-Robley said the concert holds special meaning for local audiences.  

“This show was originally created for Redcliffe audiences back in 2019 as a homecoming concert after a number of years overseas,” Thomas said. “It’s gone on to perform all over the country and overseas, but I’m always utterly thrilled to be bringing it home again.”

Super Bowl LX at Redcliffe Tavern 

Redcliffe Tavern will bring Super Bowl LX to the big screen on Monday, 9 February, giving locals the chance to catch every moment of the action live. 

Venue Manager Kylie Mienert said the game would be broadcast from early morning.  

“Super Bowl will be live and loud on the big 100-inch screen from 8am, with complimentary tea, coffee and toasties available,” Kylie said. “A foot-long hot dog lunch special will be available from 11am.” 

Doors open from 8am, with patrons able to settle in and watch every moment of the game at Redcliffe Tavern, 34 Anzac Avenue, Redcliffe. This is an 18+ event. Terms and conditions apply.

Matters of Life and Death Cafe

What is a Death Cafe? A death cafe is simply a safe space for people to come together and talk about anything related to death, dying, our own mortality, advanced life care planning and sometimes touched with a little grief. 

It’s not a counselling space. It’s not a grief group. There are so many ways to do death and farewells. You can design or create anything that aligns with your personality and your wishes. You need to talk about it and don’t leave your loved ones clueless and guessing. Your own mortality is worth the time and energy! 

Earth and Tide Exhibition

Explore the earth and the ocean with talented artist Ron Bryant, master pastelist Tricia Taylor, and experienced potter Mary Ann Martin at their magnificent Earth & Tide Exhibition at The Old Fire Station Gallery! From earth and clay to painting of the land and sea, this is a celebration of creation! Their exhibition cleverly captures how the sky meets the land, ocean meets the shore, and the earth is shaped into pottery art. See their work from Wednesday 14 January until Sunday 8 February. Join the artists for the Official Opening on Saturday 17 January at 1pm. 

Creative Workshops with artist Claudio Kirac

Claudio is being commissioned to create new artwork for City of Moreton Bay’s Outdoor Gallery at Redcliffe Library. Get ready to get creative and innovative as Claudio reminds us that there’s “no right way” to create.

Celebrate creativity as a form of joyful discovery and self-expression while exploring the art of collage. Explore abstract shapes inspired by Moreton Bay’s natural environment. Using coloured markers, reflective and coloured card and yarn, participants will create “shape stories” that reimagine the amazing creatures, plants, and places of Moreton Bay.

Each participant will take home their own mini artwork as a keepsake. In this workshop, Claudio invites participants of all ages to enjoy the process of making art. With consent, your creations will be photographed and later re-interpreted into the final artwork that Claudio is making for the Outdoor Gallery. 

Kirrenderri:Heart of the Channel Country

Kirrenderri, Heart of the Channel Country presents a visually striking and narrative-rich exhibition. It tells the extraordinary stories of one of the most remote locations at the very heart of Australia. Channel Country is renowned as an intersection for Aboriginal trade networks that connect the continent.

Revelations of the age and scale of sites in this landscape are evocative and lead to a reimagining of the deep history of this country. Rarely seen collection artefacts, historic and contemporary photographs and interviews are featured. Also included are recently discovered archaeological artefacts from several key quarry sites and Channel Country locations.

They reveal important stories about relationships forged on Country. Kirrenderri, Heart of the Channel Country is a travelling exhibition presented and toured by the University of Queensland Anthroplogy Museum, with support from Mithaka Aboriginal Corporation and Diamantina Shire Council. The exhibition tour is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.

Kenny Rogers and Friends 

  • 23 January

Graham Toole, a dedicated musician, is renowned for his unique style and professional tributes to country music legends. Raised in a musical family, Graham’s early influences include his piano-playing mother and singing father, with classical training and eisteddfod participation. At 16, Graham won a talent competition, opening for John Williamson.

He later performed tributes to Glen Campbell, John Denver, and Kenny Rogers, earning the Frank Ifield International Spur Award in 2004.

Running in the Shadows of Fleetwood Mac 

Fleetwood Mac tribute band, Running in the Shadows, will bring the magic of one of the world’s most loved groups to Redcliffe Entertainment Centre on Saturday, 31 January. 

The show has been described as “the ultimate Fleetwood Mac experience besides the real thing, high energy, musically out of this world, and packed with incredible vocals and musicianship that leave audiences singing and smiling all night.” 

The six-piece band, featuring lead vocalists Ursula Cain Stewart and Bec Caruana, will perform classics like, Gypsy, Landslide, Rhiannon, Go Your Own Way, and Dreams, aiming to capture the sound and spirit of Fleetwood Mac.

The world-famous Manpower Australia, also known as Thunder From Down Under, is set to light up the stage at Redcliffe Leagues Club on Wednesday, 21 January.

Clontarf will come alive with chrome, food, and live music when Friday Night Eats ‘N’ Cars Car Show rolls into Road Rage Industries on Friday, 5 December. 

Manager Aarash Almassi said the event was all about community, connection, and cars.  

“Expect a buzzing atmosphere with food trucks, market stalls, live music, and a massive car display featuring everything from muscle and hot rods to Euros, JDMs, modern V8s, and bikes,” Aarash said. “It’s a great way to celebrate summer nights while supporting a local cause.” 

The free, family-friendly event will feature raffles, giveaways, and entertainment for all ages, with proceeds supporting Redcliffe Mums Inc.

Meet the Author: Joanna Jenkins at Redcliffe Library

Readers are invited to an afternoon of intrigue and storytelling with Queensland author Joanna Jenkins. 

Joanna will discuss her latest novel, The Bluff, a crime story of deception and loyalty, set in a rural town where isolation breeds secrets and danger hides beneath the surface. 

“I’m excited to be talking at the Redcliffe Library about my book The Bluff,” Joanna said. “The Bluff is a crime novel set in a country town. The iconic landscape of the east coast hinterland plays a major role in the book, just as for Redcliffe the amazingly beautiful land and seascape is a crucial part of the town. I’ll be talking about writing, reading, characters, landscapes and changing careers late in life to be an author.”

President of the Pine Rivers Chamber, Jo Stevens, said as well as gaining practical strategies on resilience, attendees will also hear from an NRL legend.  

“The event features NRL legend Shane Webcke sharing his powerful story on mental health, leadership, and resilience in an interview with Dominique Lamb,” Jo said. “You’ll also gain practical strategies during a panel discussion led by Donna Thistlethwaite, and enjoy the chance to connect with local leaders and changemakers.”

Mousetrap Theatre Company will present Carlo Goldoni’s comedy, Mirandolina this October, marking the very first official production at the company’s brand-new venue. 

President Karen Matthews said the company was thrilled to be opening their new space with such a lively production. 

“Mirandolina is our next production, actually the first official production to be held in our new venue, so it’s rather exciting,” Karen said. 

Packed with larger-than-life characters, the comedy will keep audiences guessing and laughing right up to the final curtain.

Are you looking for a path to wellness that is easy to follow? 

The Wellness Nurse, Ros Lindsey, invites people who want to learn how to make small changes in order to live well for longer to attend her free workshop, The Health & Wellness Roadmap at Redcliffe Library on Monday, 8 September. 

Ros said that if you have been told to “lose weight and exercise more” but don’t know where to start, then start with this workshop.

“I have developed simple tools to help people evaluate six key areas: nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, social connection, and avoiding risky substances,” she said. “This helps individuals find the best place to begin – where they’ll have the biggest impact.”

Redcliffe Mums Incorporated invites you to have fun while making a difference at their Redcliffe Mums Charity Trivia Night & Cent Auction at The Deception Bay Club on Saturday, 13 September. 

Come and try your luck! With lots of cent auction raffles and other prizes, the odds are in your favour. Refreshments and beverages will be available for purchase – keep your brain fuelled for the fun and exciting trivia rounds.

Mamma Mia! Can’t resist the songs and music of ABBA? 

Fans of beloved pop supergroup ABBA are in for a treat as The Ten Sopranos bring Mamma Mia the Concert to life at Redcliffe Entertainment Centre on Friday, 19 September.

Legendary! It’s not just a Bon Jovi song; it describes the band perfectly! Fans of Bon Jovi are in for a good time as Redcliffe Leagues Club brings you The Australian Bon Jovi Experience live and free on Friday, 15 August. 

This incredibly talented tribute band will perform your favourite Bon Jovi hits from across the decades, including It’s My Life, Livin’ on a Prayer, Always, Bed of Roses, You Give Love a Bad Name and more, that will have you singing along at the top of your lungs. 

These musicians don’t just play the songs – they bring the energy, soaring guitar riffs and rock’n’roll attitude of an authentic Bon Jovi experience. 

Bring your mates for a great night of rock nostalgia, from 7.30pm.

Enjoy canapes, a drink on arrival, a two-course dinner, and entertainment by 2011 alumni Thomas Armstrong-Robley and his Retrospective Rock and Roll Band. The event starts at 5pm with an optional campus tour, with the main event from 6pm to 10.30pm.

Hosts of Ladies Who Long Lunch, Kirsty Fields and Jo Stevens, invite business and community-minded women to join them for a fantastic lunch and beverages at the Redcliffe Leagues Club on Friday, 5 September. 

Kirsty said they looked forward to seeing their local connections at this event, which features a panel of three women who’ve used media to create change. 

“Stories shared will be about how they’ve each used media for their community, career or business,” Kirsty said. “This topic will be of high interest to a lot of women in business or from community organisations right now.”
