The Women’s Wellness Workshop – Connecting to Thrive invites women to set aside a morning for themselves to prioritise their health and well-being this month.

Lisa Duncan, founder of Future With Focus and workshop facilitator, said that the event will showcase inspiring health workshops, local wellbeing stalls, and community networking.

“Women deserve to feel good, supported, and connected to themselves,” Lisa said. “Even one small change can make a meaningful difference.”

Having facilitated similar workshops in the past, Lisa said that women often leave feeling lighter, more hopeful and equipped with tools they can use immediately.

Supported by 20 local businesses and community organisations, along with the Redcliffe Electorate Office, the event aims to encourage women to prioritise their own wellbeing.

Supporting Women’s Health and Community

State Member for Redcliffe Kerri-Anne Dooley said that as women often put others first, she hoped that the day would offer attendees strategies and new ideas for how to take care of themselves and achieve optimum health.

“I hope attendees take home a fresh perspective on how important their personal physical and mental wellbeing is,” she said. “I hope women can take away something new, something fun and something practical they will do as a result of attending.”

Entry is $25 and includes morning tea by Friendly Grocer Redcliffe, with all proceeds going to The Forgotten Women, supporting women over 55 at risk of homelessness.
