After a 24-year absence, the Redcliffe Peninsula Chamber of Commerce Business Awards are back and are calling for nominations.
Redcliffe Peninsula Chamber of Commerce president Paula Burgess said they wanted the opportunity to recognise the high-performing businesses in the Redcliffe area, as well as provide a platform for more exposure to the local market.
“The awards will encourage businesses to seek recognition from the general public and their peers,” she said.
“As business owners, we rarely take the time to assess what we have achieved over time. By taking the time to answer the questions for the awards application, it forces business owners to stop and review how far they have come.
“It’s a great process for businesses to reflect and celebrate their business.”
RPCC Business Awards Night
The Chamber’s first awards since 2000, the process will culminate in a premier ticketed awards night to truly celebrate businesses and business leaders in the community.
The awards accept nominations from both the commercial and public sectors and are open to businesses in Redcliffe, Woody Point, Clontarf, Kippa-Ring, Scarborough, Newport, Rothwell, Deception Bay and Mango Hill.
Nominations close on 17 August. To nominate your own business or a business you know, visit Redcliffe Peninsula Chamber of Commerce here.
