Life is better when we feel well!
Learn more and meet the people who can support your health journey at the Women’s Wellness Workshop at Redcliffe Showgrounds this month. The workshop focuses on women’s health and showcases local service providers and businesses who celebrate women.
Co-host Kerri-Anne Dooley MP said the event was the brainchild of Sgt Sarah Grayson.
“Sarah is passionate about women’s health and wellbeing, as am I, and suggested we host an event providing a platform for women inclusive of workshop-style classes,” Ms Dooley said. “I am sponsoring morning tea.”
Empowering Women Through Community and Support
Sgt Sarah Grayson said she wanted to host the event to have all the pieces of the puzzle in one place, “so women of all ages on a wellness journey could connect with other ladies and businesses, to see what might help with whatever they are dealing with”.
“Having been on my own journey recently, I needed a few of these amazing women, which inspired me to bring everyone together,” she said.
“It’s about women supporting each other and finding our ‘community’.”
Entry is by gold coin donation, with proceeds going to The Forgotten Women, a charity supporting women aged over 55 at risk of homelessness.
