Over 70 handmade quilts will be on display at the Henzell Street Biennial Quilt Show, with many community displays and live demonstrations.
The show will take place at Webb Hall at Redcliffe Showgrounds this month, bringing not only all things creative in coverlets, comforters, doonas and more, but also member craft stalls, trade stalls, raffles and other surprise giveaways.
Kathleen Duff, 2026 Quilt Show Manager, Henzell Street Quilters Inc, said the show highlighted the extraordinary talents of club members while showcasing the warmth and generosity that underpinned the group’s long‑standing community involvement.
“Enjoy a relaxed outing with friends, creative inspiration and a cuppa from the Redcliffe Show Canteen while supporting a vibrant local club,” Ms Duff said.
Celebrating Creativity and Community Through Quilting
“Visitors will discover the much-anticipated 15” x 15” Challenge Quilts, inspired by the theme ‘My Happy Place’ and created using a selected fabric pack,” she said.
The Henzell Street Quilters group has a history stretching back to 1984 and continues to welcome new members.
