Musical Mornings

Theatre 102, under the banner of Redcliffe Musical Theatre (RMT), is offering new and regular opportunities for people to enjoy theatre and concerts – in the morning.  

In the June and July iterations of Musical Mornings, classical music and cabaret will take the stage during Viva La Musica and Broadway Melody (following May’s Songs and Soiree show). 

Madeleine Johns, RMT Theatre founding member and president, said these performances were highly suitable for audiences from retirement villages, aged care facilities and “those who are retired looking for a regular morning show filled with music.”  

“We plan to run at least one performance per month on a Friday morning and our program is set for the first three months,” Ms Johns said.

Upcoming Musical Mornings: Viva La Musica and Broadway Melody

According to Ms Johns, Viva La Musica is set to feature a classical trio of flute, piano and violin, while Broadway Melody will showcase favourites from the golden age of musicals, including The Sound of Music, The King and I and Singin’ in the Rain.
