Redcliffe Botanic Gardens is a peaceful oasis in the heart of Redcliffe. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely stroll, a shaded picnic spot or a place to unwind with a book, this lush sanctuary offers a unique connection to nature.

With accessible walking trails and an abundance of native plant life, the gardens provide the perfect setting for a peaceful walk.

Mayor Peter Flannery said the gardens were a unique natural haven.

“Our beautiful Redcliffe Botanic Gardens give visitors the opportunity to experience up close, typical vegetation from the Moreton Bay area from woodland and rainforest to wallum wildflower areas,” Mayor Flannery said.

“Not only does it host a sensory garden, herb garden and permaculture garden, importantly the site also features original bushland, making it the only area on the eastern Redcliffe Peninsula where visitors can see the last known naturally grown grasstrees and wild iris on the Peninsula.

“Redcliffe Botanic Gardens also features a community nursery where our incredible volunteers from Friends of the Redcliffe Botanic Gardens can provide information, tours and also sell native plants suitable for local gardens.

“It truly is a tranquil haven right in the heart of the city.”
